I can't even get off the ground with the help of microsoft as cd/dvd players do not appear on my device manager. When I picked up this last time I learned to do something with the power reset but can't remember how now.

I did the upper and lower bit of regedit but without success.


It was there before, and when I had a successful previous problem to solve this but not this time. What do you do if your cd/dvd drive does not exist in the Device Manager but always turns upward when you put a disc?
